...is what being a part of the Missions Team is all about! Our mission, as part of the Kingdom, is to reach all people in every outpost of the world. As a church, we tithe a tenth of our offerings toward missions, and have adopted six mission targets to fulfill Jesus'
Acts 1:8 command.
Journey Christian Church supports a number of different mission organizations. What each organization does specifically may vary, but all share one goal;
Stadia is a church planting organization that was instrumental in starting Journey, as well as hundreds of other churches in the U.S. We support their efforts to plant churches throughout the United States, as we reach new communities and people for Christ.
Lifeline serves the needs of people in Honduras and Haiti, building communities and schools, and staffing missionaries in each location to support the development of families and children. A team of missionaries now serves several areas and continues to minister to their needs.
The Pregnancy Resource Center equips individuals with the information necessary to make positive life-affirming choices for their lives. We support them through monthly financial support, collecting disposable diapers during the month of January; supporting PRC Walk for Life in April and sponsoring tables at their
Tracy Interfaith Ministries is an interactive group of participating church bodies whose ministry is toward the community in need. They provide temporary and emergency service to all who knock on their door that they may glorify God through their ministry. We support them through volunteers, donations and providing supplies for Thanksgiving meals.
Agape Villages Foster Family Agency places children in homes throughout the Bay Area, Central Valley, and Sacramento Area. They are involved in developing and maintaining competent, healthy, committed and trained foster families in which the foster child is nurtured and directed. We support them through donations and collecting backpacks, Christmas toys and gift cards in July-August.
V.B.R. is a treatment foster care program that provides a stable placement alternative for emotionally disabled children who can benefit from a family based treatment program.
We support them through donations and collecting backpacks, Christmas toys and gift cards in July-August.
