At Journey, we support a number ofministries to help disciple and grow our congregation. Please view the list below and feel free to contact any of our staff regarding these ministries.
Our Early Childhood department makes Sundays a blast for those in Nursery and Preschool; giving them a First Look at God and introducing them to Jesus. It's designed to help parents support basic lessons of faith at home (using the Family Center Parent Cues & Small talk cards), while being excited about coming to church. Check it out on a Sunday at 9:15 & 10:45am. Contact Holly Greene for more information.
Our JourneyKids program is tailored to support parents in the spiritual development of their children. We offer programs during worship services for 1st through 5th Graders, and provide several opportunities for character and spiritual development throughout the year. Contact Sandra Wright or Esther Crocker for more information.
Journey Student Ministry exists to make world changers out Middle School and High School students. Through worship, teaching, small groups and having tons of fun, Journey Students can expect to grow closer to Jesus and their peers. Come check us out on Sunday mornings or Wednesday evenings to see what it is all about.
Contact Tony Jacobs for more info.
Journey wouldn't exist without the great work of many people who serve on our Connections Team. Whether it's setting up & tearing down, hosting/ushering, serving at our Grand Central station, working on the support team, or helping with security. These folks help drive Journey forward each week and connect with each other in relationship. We enjoy their leadership and encourage many of our new attenders to start in one of these ministries to help them connect. For more information, contact Lisa Henson.
Adults & Groups
At the core of our DNA as a church body is our Groups Ministries. We now carry groups starting from 4th grade through senior adult, with a variety of types and styles. In addition, we have affinity groups such as Men's Momentum, Women's Ministry, Athletics, etc. See our Groups area or contact Dianna McFarland to get involved.
Tracy For Christ
Journey participates with a number of other churches as part of a para church organization called Tracy For Christ. This group works together to hold events and activities, such as the annual Tracy National Day of Prayer and the Love Tracy Days. The group meets for prayer weekly throughout the year, and works will local city leaders to support the community.
